A Soul-Fulfilling Day Planting Trees
We paired up with our friends at Godfrey & Kahn S.C. to improve the biodiversity of a local forest via the Schlitz Audobon Nature Center and their wonderful staff. It feels good to work for an organization that takes time out of the day to tend to the environment around us.
What We Accomplished
- - We planted a variety of tree saplings
- - Cut down plenty of Buckthorn, an invasive species to much of Wisconsin's woodlands
Improving the biodiversity of the forest, a.k.a. "Saving the earth one tree at a time!" #HorizonVolunteers because the earth is awesome!
