Anodyne Coffee joins list of Horizon community partners

For those in the midst of grief, sometimes it’s the little things that make a big difference.

Thanks to the generosity of Anodyne Coffee Roasting Co., all those visiting Horizon’s Grief Resource Center can enjoy Anodyne’s locally-owned and brewed coffee for a little extra comfort.

Horizon’s Grief Resource Center (GRC) is the only one of its kind in the state of Wisconsin, touching the lives of more than 6,000 people each year. It offers free counseling, support groups, workshops and more, free of charge to anyone experiencing loss.

One of the center’s counselors, Kiri Meyer, facilitated the new community partnership with Anodyne.

“Our mission at the GRC is to serve our community, so we feel so grateful when we can find other wonderful local businesses who feel the same passion to pitch in to help the individuals in our community feel supported and comforted.”

Anodyne is graciously donating two pounds of coffee per week to the GRC. Visitors can pair that with a bakery item from Starbucks, another generous Horizon donor.

In addition, Trader Joe’s donates flowers to Horizon weekly. Special flower volunteers make arrangements which are then dropped off at Horizon’s Kathy and Lawlis Hospices to make the patients there smile.

We are very grateful for the wonderful contributions from our partners!
