Registration Deadline for Living through Loss: Grief of Dementia Patients & Their Caregivers

Living with a dementia diagnosis brings a specific type of grief for those with the illness, their caregiver and their loved ones. This workshop will provide information about ambiguous loss, anticipatory grief, and many other themes related to the experience of grieving through dementia. Two different models will be presented to help better understand this unique type of grief. Participants will also learn skills to cope with difficult emotions and strengthen support networks.
